2025 was a considerable leap across an abyss of challenges. Like the fool in the tarot deck, I jumped into every opportunity with blind faith. I exerted a tremendous amount of time, energy and money in pursuit of my creative goals/dreams. I curated two large exhibitions along with creating a new series of work entitled “ Talismanic Prophecies”. This resulted in a solo exhibition. I exhibited in fifteen shows in 2025.
In October I realized an intended goal.I designed, built, installed and financed a large scale sculpture for a newly established sculpture park in Jersey City. Paulus Hook Park is in collaboration with MORA Contemporary Art. This is the largest of the Talismanic pieces.
Entitled (prophecy of) Sacred Fire.
December enters, and with it an onslaught of synchronicities. I am drawn to the messages of the ending of the Karmic 9th Year. The Year of the Snake. The concept of shedding the past to make way for a renewed future with the entrance of the Fire Horse. Then coincidence intervened and an opportunity for something exciting arose. I grabbed the reins and ran with it! Stay tuned!
I am looking forward to 2026 with a sense of achievement but also a need for contemplation. In nature the winter months mark a time of dormancy yet life is still formulating deep underneath the surface. I now must realign in order to strength myself physically, creatively and spiritually.
This is mirrored in the world today. There is a need for realignment within ourselves and our relation with others. We need to continue the pursuit of unity, acceptance and consideration for each other, our world and our universe. Look to the heavens/stars for enlightenment.
